Foundations - Monday @ 10am (In Studio/Zoom)
This class has a theme for 4 weeks. Emphasis is placed on a particular foundation. Strength building, balance & flexibility are examples. Students will develop a stronger practice in new and creative ways built on repetition and awareness.
CHAIR – Mondays @ 1PM (IN STUDIO/ZOOM)
In this new class, we will use the chair for a 40 minute yoga practice. We will NOT get down on the floor, but rather we will use the chair for various yoga poses, balancing and as a prop for gaining strength. This class is appropriate for all levels of yoga. For those that are not comfortable getting up and down from the floor, this is the perfect class for you!
Slow & Steady - Tuesday @ 10:00am and Saturday @ 10:30AM (In Studio/Zoom)
This is a non-flow, beginner-friendly gentle yoga class. If you are working with limitations in your body, restrictions on weight bearing, want to minimize injury and move thoughtfully, this class is designed to meet those needs. The sequence varies class to class to keep it fun and different each time.
Unwind - tuesday @ 5:30pm and Thursday @ 5:30PM (In studio/zoom)
Tuesday – A combination of the Stretch and Slow & Steady classes to finish out your work day.
Thursday – A more yin centered class with longer holds. A more laid back class.
Stretch - Thursday @ 10am (In studio/Zoom)
This class targets the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body while encouraging circulation in the joints. Expect longer holds as time plays an important part in each pose to relax the muscles and allow the stretch.
Movement - Friday @ 10am (In studio/Zoom)
This class is faster paced than any other class I teach. The class opens with breath and stretch movements. Then we raise the heart rate and begin low-impact cardio movements. There are constants in this class like planks and core strengthening. We finish with deep stretches and a cool down. This class is 45 minutes.
